Hi Team!

The Toowoomba Carnival Bash is back for 2025! For those that have no idea what I’m talking about, the Toowoomba Carnival Bash is the only Sanctioned Pickleball tournament in Australia west of Brisbane.

The dates are set for September 5/6/7 and last year we saw 160 players with this year hoping to break 250+

The event is also livestreamed so if you own a business and want some of promotion, we also are accepting sponsors to jump on board!

The events include:
Friday – Skinny Singles & Full Court Singles
Saturday – Gender Doubles + a teams event to be announced
Sunday – Mixed Doubles & Hybrid Disability Event

This years event has 19+ (can include under 19), 35+, 50+ & 65+ categories and there is a level for EVERYONE!

We have
UNDER 3.0 = BEGINNERS
3.0 – 3.49 = Social Intermediate
3.5-3.99 = Intermediate
4.0-4.49 = High Intermediate
4.5+ = Advanced

There are a few steps for those that are interested in playing and these are stepped out below. Obviously myself and Maddy are more then happy to help you through this process also

Step 1. Create a Pickleball Australia ID via https://www.pickleballqueensland.org/registration

Step 2. Create a DUPR via https://dashboard.dupr.com/signup

Step 3. Create a pickleball tournaments id via https://dashboard.dupr.com/signup

Step 4. REGISTER for our event via https://pickleballtournaments.com/tournaments/toowoomba-carnival-bash-2025-1

We’d love to see the Toowoomba team stepping out on the courts and giving it a red hot crack! This is also great for those wanting to trial playing a tournament as you’ll catch the bug quickly 😉
